Hello World,
Today, we find our planet in an increasingly complex and volatile state. We’re seeing longer droughts, larger wildfires, stronger storms, and floods that are no longer rare—while glaciers recede and ecosystems strain. Some of these forces are natural; many are now amplified by human activity and tightly coupled global systems. The result is higher frequency, greater severity, and wider ripple effects across communities and economies.
In contrast, we can directly shape the man-made drivers that worsen these impacts: dysfunctional governance, social inequality, economic instability, conflict, unsustainable energy use, pollution, deforestation, and now also digital fragmentation, misinformation, and the misalignment of powerful technologies. These are within our collective reach. Starting today, I’m using this and other channels to push for practical, constructive change through my thoughts, words, designs, and actions. We are all part of a global citizenry, and it’s time to act like it—together, with humility and resolve.
