Last week was another great week of testing and assessing. We are changing some of the look and feel of the profiles based on last week’s feedback, so look for those changes. Now that Beta Members can create Accounts and Profiles, we are enabling extended features specific to each profile type. But that’s not all. This week we are also enabling the very heart of our platform, Whishes.
The focus of this week for Beta Members is to continue to interact with your Account and Profile while exploring the Extended Profile features. The Extended Profiles allow Individuals, Organizations, and Benefactors to provide additional information regarding themselves such as Skills, Experience, Education, Accomplishments, Awards, etc. Some of this information will be required for other features on the platform such as Portfolios and Offers.
Aside from the Extended Profiles, the big deal this week is Wishes. We want to make certain that all users have an easy time making their Wishes. We have populated the Wishes catalogue with dummy content for Beta testing. When the Platform is officially launched on October 20, 2022, the Wishes will be reset so Members may make them again with information reflecting our real Benefactor Members. Wishes are the mechanism that allows us to carry out our vision by acting as the determining factors for the distribution of funding to Benefactors.
Starting today, Members are now invited to Sign In, Extend their Profiles and make some Wishes. If you notice anything out of place or an action that did not completed please let us know right away via the Beta Feedback Form. We appreciate the effort and participation of the Beta Members that have joined us to date as well as all those who have registered for consideration for future Beta participation.
